permit parking
Chicago residents who drive vehicles must purchase a city sticker from the City Clerk regardless of where the vehicle is registered. The City Clerk’s Office also sells guest passes for permit parking. Our office cannot issue city stickers or guest permits, except for LV2 Cubs Game guest passes.

LV2 Cubs Parking
LV2 is a parking zone close to Wrigley Field. Restrictions in this zone are from 5PM-10PM on dates of all Cubs home games (including the postseason) or concerts at Wrigley Field.
Most qualifying residents will automatically receive their permit in the mail. If you don’t receive your permit in the mail, please confirm that you live in the LV2 zone using the map above. Then, fill out this online application. You can pick up your free permit and/or guest passes at our office (4243 N Lincoln Ave) on weekdays between 9 AM and 5 PM.
Note: In the winter during Cubs offseason, the LV2 zone is not enforced. Our office can only provide LV2 parking permits from mid-March to early October.
Moving signs
Our office provide free non-enforceable “courtesy” no-parking moving signs. Write the date and hours these paper signs and post using string or plastic wrap on nearby trees and light poles. Moving signs should be posted 48 to 72 hours prior to the moving date. Visit our ward office at 4243 N Lincoln Ave or email us at info@aldermanmartin.com. We can provide a PDF for you to print at home, or you can visit our office to pick up a printed copy.
For enforceable signs, moving companies can have TOW ZONE no-parking moving signs posted by the Chicago Department of Transportation. Professional moving companies can apply online. Applications should be made well in advance to allow the City to post the signs prior to the move.
