Emergency Housing And Homelessness

Residents seeking emergency shelter may call 3-1-1. If you are experiencing domestic violence, you can also call the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline 877-863-6338 or chat with an advocate online. If you’re concerned about an individual who you believe is homeless, feel free to contact our office at info@aldermanmartin.com. We can request an outreach worker visit to offer services.

Affordable housing

If you meet income eligibility requirements, you may be eligible for a Project Based Voucher with the Chicago House Authority. Due to the high demand, the waitlist ranges from 6 months to 2 years or longer depending on individual circumstances and housing availability. Please email info@aldermanmartin.com for assistance with the application process.

If you don’t qualify for a voucher but need affordable housing, you can search privately managed affordable units. This list does not include vacancy information.
